Eligibility

All students are encouraged to apply! UW Oshkosh will accept applications until all programs are filled. Select students may qualify for a scholarship through the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) or the University of Wisconsin System. Learn more about scholarships

These programs are funded by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). UW Oshkosh complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and DPI’s Nondiscrimination provision for all students.

Program Tuition

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the University of Wisconsin System provide scholarships that cover all expenses for eligible students. PreCollege Programs cost $1,600 per student, which includes lodging and meals, field trips, program supplies and instructional materials.
 
If a student does not qualify for either of the scholarships listed below, they must contact the UW Oshkosh PreCollege Programs Coordinator at (920) 424-2115 or precollege@uwosh.edu to discuss payment prior to the start of the program.

DPI-Funded Scholarships

AT | ESTEEM-I | FT | PM | SMARTS

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) provides scholarships for qualified students to participate in the Arc of Teaching (AT); Exploring Science, Technology and Engineering Education Majors  (ESTEEM); Future Titans Program (FT); Pulse Medical Program (PM); and Summer Mathematics and Reading Talent Scholars (SMARTS) programs.

DPI scholarships are limited to students who participate in the free or reduced-rate lunch program at their school. The scholarship covers full payment for each of the programs and includes tuition, meals, lodging, supplies, insurance and activity fees.
