WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

My name is Chase. I’m a senior here at UW Oshkosh, I’m originally from the Madison area, and I’m also on the swim team. I spent the first two years of my college career at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a film major. I wasn’t in love with my major, but was still planning on […]

Quite the handful. I come from the humble city of Shawano. My big dream is to eventually find myself as a curatorship at the […]
Hello perspective students! My name is Heather, and I am a senior student from Rockford, Illinois. Being an out of state student, getting acclimated to campus was a worry for me. I didn’t know anyone coming into UW Oshkosh. At first, I was hesitant to explore. However, before classes started, my roommate and I went […]

Hello, everyone! I am a Senior graduating in May 2021 with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Public Relations. From being a tour guide and working in the Admissions office, I often get asked why I am glad that I chose to attend UWO. I love this question, but I still find it difficult to answer. I will never be able to fully describe why UW Oshkosh was the right fit for me because I still find myself being surprised by all of the student resources. It is nearly impossible for me to describe how grateful I am for the past 4 years, so naturally, I turned to some of my peers. I asked 11 of my friends why they are glad that they chose to become a Titan, and I managed to compile some great answers.
Hey everyone! It’s Olivia here with another special blog edition. Today, I’d not only like to promote the UWO Counseling Center, but also just promote student mental health in general. I always advocate for this in my tours, as well! The Counseling Center has something for everyone and I’d like to share with you a few of the great services and programs they have to offer! On top of that, I am writing this blog during the month of March and our Counseling Center is promoting it as “Mindful March”, so what better time to write about this topic!
