Automatic college acceptance for qualified students

An easier, smoother admissions process customized for you.

Direct admission to UW Oshkosh means you don’t have to worry about getting accepted. Students who qualify for direct admission have the opportunity to fill out a simplified application and rest assured that there is a place for them to start as a first-year student at UW Oshkosh.

Direct Admission is offered for graduating high school seniors in one of the following groups:

Students who have participated in the UW Oshkosh Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP)

Students who have participated in the UW Oshkosh Early College Credit Program (ECCP)

Oshkosh North High School students

Oshkosh West High School students

If you meet one of the above criteria, a path to a college degree exists for you at UWO!

To be eligible for direct admission, students must complete or be on track to complete all high school courses required for admission to UW Oshkosh.

Which campus will I start at?

Most students will be eligible to enroll as a first-year student at our Oshkosh campus. While all students are eligible to enroll at our Fox Cities or Fond du Lac campus, some students will be admitted directly to these campuses first so that they may take advantage of smaller class sizes and additional academic support opportunities. Students who begin at the Fox Cities or Fond du Lac campus will be eligible to transition to the Oshkosh campus after completing a minimum of 12 credits, typically one semester.

We’ll work to understand each student’s financial, academic, and other special circumstances so that their transition to UWO is successful. In addition, our team of student success navigators will be available to work with all students throughout their entire first year as a Titan.
