What will your NetID be?

The UWO Net ID is typically formulated using the following information.

• First 8 letters of last name, or your entire last name if less than 8 letters.
• First 2 letters of first name
• Last 2 digits of student ID

For example: Mary Johnson, with a student ID number of 0999999 would be johnsonma99. Mary’s email address would be johnsonma99@uwosh.edu.

After you activate your NetID

You will use your NetID and password to access your Titan Email and TitanWeb accounts.

Enrolling in Classes

You will complete the course enrollment process within TitanWeb. The Early College Credit team is here to help you should you experience challenges enrolling. If you have any questions throughout the process, please contact us at hscollegecredit@uwosh.edu or (920) 424-2275.

Enrollment Dates

Below are the dates that course enrollment opens for each term.

• Fall Term: July 5 at 8:00 a.m.
• Spring Term: January 8 at 8:00 a.m.
• Summer Term: March 4 at 8:00 am. 

Important: Placement Test Details

If you wish to enroll in a math, English or foreign language course, please arrange to take the appropriate UW System Placement Test/s online if you have not previously completed a college course in the area.

You may not enroll in a college math, English or foreign language course unless you already have completed a placement test or have completed at least one college course in the area in question. Placement tests should be taken at least 72 hours prior to your enrollment to ensure that test scores are available. Follow these instructions to complete placement testing.

Visit the regional testing registration website and read through the information listed. If you would like to request accommodations for your exams, please read through the accommodations drop-down information before filling out the registration form.

Click the Registration form link to begin the registration process.

• You will need your UW Oshkosh NetID and password to register. This information was provided in your acceptance email.
• The registration form is a two-step process. After filling out section one of the registration form, you will be emailed a verification code from the Center for Placement Testing to complete the registration process in section two.
• Once you’ve completed the registration form. Further emails will be sent to you from Meazure Learning, which will include the link to the exams and login information. The email address you provide on the registration form will be used to receive those notifications. Additional Tips and Resources

Canvas

Canvas is a digital learning platform that instructors utilize as a course tool. This tool allows instructors to communicate with the class, assign projects, give feedback, post grades, etc. Students can utilize Canvas to communication with their instructor, turn in course work, connect with their classmates, and even collaborate on projects. Most instructors do not add students to their Canvas class until the first week of class.

Student I.D.

You may obtain your TitanCard (student identification card) by visiting Titan Central in Reeve Memorial Union. Information regarding obtaining a TitanCard can be found here. If you are an Early College Credit Program student, please let the Titan Central staff know so that you are not charged a fee for your TitanCard. High School Special Students are responsible for the cost of a TitanCard. Please be prepared to show a driver’s license or some form of photo identification to receive a TitanCard. You must be enrolled in at least one class to be eligible to obtain a TitanCard. Obtaining a TitanCard is optional unless you will be attending classes on campus.

Textbooks

You may obtain your textbooks from University Books and More located in Reeve Memorial Union. Hours of operation can be found on the University Books and More website. Students are responsible for ordering textbooks and should do so prior to the first day of class.

Note: Students will be required to put in their 7-digit student ID number if ordering online. At the end of the process, there is a comment section. In the comment section, Early College Credit Program students should type: ECCP Student. Then the student’s school will be charged for the books instead of the student account. High School Special students are responsible for paying for their textbooks.

Parking

Parking information for all three UW Oshkosh campuses can be found online on the Parking Services website. To purchase a parking permit in person, or if you have questions about your current parking permit, students can visit the Parking Services Office in the lower level of Blackhawk Commons

Rights and Responsibilities of Enrolled Students

Once enrolled, you have most of the rights of University students as well as the responsibilities including meeting deadlines for enrollment, adding and dropping courses, and withdrawing.
