ECCP Student Resources

Student Email Account

Once enrolled in classes, the student is assigned a UW Oshkosh email account. Email is considered an official method for communicating with UW Oshkosh students because it delivers information in a convenient, timely, cost effective and environmentally aware manner.

The University expects that email communications will be received and read by students in a timely fashion. Students are expected to check their UW Oshkosh official email account on a regular basis. Many professors will communicate assignments and other information via email. The student assumes full responsibility for failure to access.

Access email at uwosh.edu/titanapps. View resources on how to login and email FAQs.

Your UW Oshkosh email address will be the first five letters of your last name, the first letter of your first name and the last two digits of your student I.D. number.

Your initial password for your student email account is your seven-digit UW Oshkosh student I.D. number. You must change your initial password and set a new, personalized password before you can check your email.

For help using your UW Oshkosh email account, call the Help Desk at (920) 424-3020. If you forget your email account password, you must go to Dempsey Hall, room 207 with your Titan Card or seek assistance at any general access student computer lab to have your password reset.

Canvas

Canvas is a Digital Learning Environment that professors may utilize as a course tool. This tool allows professors to communicate with the class, assign projects, give feedback, post grades, etc. Students can utilize Canvas to communication with their professor, turn in course work, connect with their classmates, and even collaborate on projects. All students will have access to a “digital classroom” which that can login with using their UW Oshkosh credentials here.

Student I.D.

You may obtain your TitanCard (student identification card) by visiting Titan Central in Reeve Memorial Union. Information regarding obtaining a TitanCard can be found here: https://uwosh.edu/reeve/titancard/. Please let the Titan Central staff know that you are an Early College Credit Program student so that you are not charged a fee for your TitanCard (student ID). High School Special Students would be responsible for the cost of a TitanCard. Please be prepared to show a driver’s license or some form of photo identification to receive a TitanCard. You must be enrolled in at least one class to be eligible to obtain a TitanCard. Obtaining a TitanCard is optional unless you will be attending classes on campus.

Textbooks

You may obtain your textbooks from University Books and More located in Reeve Memorial Union. Hours of operation can be found on the University Books and More website. Students are responsible for ordering textbooks and should do so prior to the first day of class.

Note: Students will be required to put in their 7-digit student ID number. At the end of the process, there is a comment section. In the comment section, ECCP students should type: ECCP Student. Then the student’s school will be charged for the books instead of the student account.

Parking

Parking information for all three UW Oshkosh campuses can be found online on the Parking Services website. To purchase a parking permit in person, or if you have questions about your current parking permit, students can visit the Parking Services Office in the lower level of Blackhawk Commons

Rights and Responsibilities of Enrolled Students

Once enrolled, you have most of the rights of University students as well as the responsibilities including meeting deadlines for enrollment, adding and dropping courses, and withdrawing.

NOTE: Early College Credit Program students do not pay student segregated fees, and therefore are not eligible to use resources on campus such as printing, tutoring or the Student Recreation & Wellness Center unless they are willing to pay a modest usage fee. You may call the Student Recreation and Wellness Center at (920) 424-1245 to ask about the fee assessment. Students choosing the membership for the Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be required to visit Titan Central to receive an upgraded TitanCard which will be used for the Student Recreation and Wellness Facilities.
