APPLYING TO UWO

Transfer Application Procedures

We’re happy that you’re considering transferring to UW Oshkosh! Please follow the steps below to complete your application to the University. If you have questions at any time, please contact us at admissions@uwosh.edu.

Note: this website provides step-by-step instructions to apply to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Admission to UW Oshkosh does not guarantee admission to the student’s intended college, major or program. Please visit the website for your intended major or program to determine if there are any additional admission requirements or application procedures.

If you are a current student at either the UW Oshkosh Fox Cities or Fond du Lac Campus, please navigate to the link below to request to be moved to the Oshkosh campus.

Step 1: Apply to UW Oshkosh

Transfer students may apply online at https://apply.wisconsin.edu. A paper application may also be obtained from any high school guidance office in Wisconsin or by contacting the admissions office.

There is no deadline for transfer applications. We have rolling admission and will process applications as they are received.

Students are required to list all post-secondary schools they have attended. Failure to list all previously attended schools is considered academic dishonesty. Failure to disclose and submit transcripts from all colleges attended, even if no transferable credit was earned, may result in denial of admission or dismissal from the university.

Step 2: Send Your College/University Transcripts

Submit an official transcript directly from all colleges or universities previously attended. An official high school transcript is also required if a student has earned fewer than 30 transferable college credits at the time they apply OR if the student has solely earned college credit from a technical college. Your application will not be complete until all transcripts are received.

All application materials should be sent to:

UW Oshkosh Admissions Office
PO Box 2423
Oshkosh, WI 54903-2423

Any paperwork that is sent express/overnight by any company other than US postal services, should be sent to the following address:

UW Oshkosh Admissions Office
800 Algoma Boulevard
Oshkosh, WI 54901

Note: UPS, FedEx, Airborne, etc. DO NOT deliver to PO Box addresses.

Step 3: Check the Status of your Transfer Application

Usually within two or three weeks after your application file is complete, you will receive an admissions decision letter from the University. An email will also be sent to the email address you provided on your application.

If you would like to check the status of your application, follow the instructions below:

  1. Access TitanWeb here: uwosh.edu/registrar/titanweb. Click on “Students/Faculty: Log into TitanWeb” to get to the login screen.
  2. Enter your User ID: A CAPITAL ‘W’ followed by your 7-digit student ID number.
  3. Enter your Password: In all CAPITAL LETTERS, enter the first 2 letters of your first name, the first 2 letters of your last name and the last 4 digits of your UW Oshkosh student ID number:

EXAMPLE

Student ID: 0123456
User ID = W0123456
Password: JADO3456

If you are having trouble accessing TitanWeb and would like to check the status of your transfer application, send an email to transfer@uwosh.edu.

Step 4: Admitted? Confirm Your Spot in the Incoming Class

The timing of your admit is perfect as UW Oshkosh has recently decided to no longer require a $100 tuition deposit for you to continue your admission process.

All that we ask of you is that complete a quick form at uwo.sh/confirm to request to move on to the next step of your journey to become a member of the Titan Family.

Congratulations Titan, your journey starts here!
