More About Sally

Places I’ve Lived: Kansas City, Missouri; San Diego, California; Norfolk, Virginia; Yokosuka, Japan; Liberty, Missouri; Waco, Texas; West Palm Beach, Florida; Northampton, Massachusetts; Lenoir, North Carolina; Appleton, Wisconsin.

In my spare time, I like to: spend time with friends and family, including our three dogs, travel, watch women’s college basketball, and cook yummy whole foods-plant based food.  I’m also an ordained interfaith minister and wedding officiant and enjoy performing weddings and helping all kinds of couples celebrate their relationships!

Favorite thing about the UARC: Working with students who are trying to figure out their major and career paths AND working with such a great group of professional advisors.  I love coming to work every day!  UWO students are also really great to work with and are so appreciative.

Advice: Don’t get caught up in thinking there is a “perfect” major; there is no perfect major.  You determine your success.  If you haven’t chosen a major, keep exploring, doing the research assignments your advisor gives you.  It’s okay to be undecided; it’s not okay to do nothing about it.  Keep moving forward!
