Yesterday was our free day to go out and see NOLA. we started our day going to the Irish/ Italian parade. Along with throwing numerous beads; potatoes and other vegetables were thrown from the parade floats. We now have the makings for dinner for probably the next two days. 

After our parade we went to the aquarium and an iMax movie. One of the unique things about the aquarium here was that the alligator they have on display is an albino alligator. Somehow it was more terrifying than a regular alligator. As we were waiting for the others to get out of the aquarium some of us stood by the Mississippi River and watched cruise ships leave. We came to the realization that we have never seen a cruise ship in person!
