An art tribute to the late UW Oshkosh Art alumnus Mark Gruenwald is on display in the art department gallery office in the Arts & Communications Center room S319. Mark was a 1975 Art major graduate that went on to become an editor-in-chief of the Fantastic Four and Avenger titles at Marvel Comics.

The original piece, painted by Bolivian born artist David Banegas, is on loan to UW Oshkosh from Gruenwald’s widow Catherine Schuller-Gruenwald. The painting will be displayed at a number of campus locations during 2018.  Read more….
