Carlos has a Ph.D. in Intercultural Education from Biola University in La Mirada, CA; an M.A.Ed. in Education in the Classroom and a B.A. in Social Science Secondary Education from Biola University in La Mirada, CA. Prior to coming to UWO, he worked at Washington State University in Pullman, WA, where he was the Assistant Director of the Chicanx Latinx Student Center.

Carlos enjoys building relationships, supporting and guiding all students overcome in higher education. He loves spending time with his wife and children and enjoys watching Dodger baseball, playing bass, and jogging.
