To be successful in college is not an easy task. To maintain long-term success, you need the necessary skills, attitude, habits, and techniques that will allow you to reach your full potential. The LAUNCH program is designed to do exactly that!
What is the College Habits for Success program?
The College Habits for Success is a program that serves as a guide to help you with your college career by showing you techniques through learning modules throughout the spring semester to assist you in reaching your college goals faster and easier. This program will guide your quest for personal, professional and educational success.
How Does it Work?
Through discussions/lectures and group work activities with professional academic staff and student peer leaders, College Habits for Success combines cognitive principles like self-efficacy and self-talk with student success concepts such as time management and study habits to offer the ultimate student success curriculum. The program also teaches effective thinking skills that apply to the college experience and translates into the wider world. Flexibility, resiliency, accountability, creativity, leadership, self-advocacy, and time management are just a few of the skills that you will be able to easily implement in your daily life.
How Do You Sign Up?
More information on registration for the College Habits for Success program will be available soon. The program is free to UW Oshkosh students.
