About Sarah

Hi! I’m Sarah. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UW Stevens Point in 2013. I finished my Master’s degree in Psychology here at UW Oshkosh in 2016.

I was a Graduate Assistant for the CAPP Office during the 2014-2015 year. In August 2015 I became the full-time Program Assistant. If you contact the main office for CAPP, you will reach me! I love the opportunity to interact with such a wide variety of people in this position!

Outside of work I enjoy knitting, reading, board and video games, enjoying podcasts with my wife, and making friends with every pet I meet.

About John

I am a proud former teacher of CAPP Biology 105, AP Biology, Human Anatomy (Bio 211), Field Ecology, Forensic Science, and Biology 10 at Freedom High School (17 years).  I earned my BS in Biology (Chemistry minor) from UW Oshkosh in 1992, my MS in Biology from Western Carolina University in 1994, and a MAT in Secondary Science Education from Miami University in 1998.  I also have 2 years in towards a Ph.D. in Ecology……but am A.B.D. on that one!

Having resided in Oshkosh during college, and since 2002, I am quite happy to now work at a school I have loved for decades.  I am truly humbled to be able to work with so many gifted high school and college educators (and their students), and look forward to helping keep the CAP Program operating at the high level it has been raised to by the former directors of this office.

I am married, and have two daughters in Oshkosh Area School District schools.  I enjoy archery, kayaking, paddling the B.W.C.A.W., hiking, hunting, cross country ski racing, and just about anything outdoors.

We look forward to serving you and your students in an open, friendly, and collegial manner for the benefit of your student population.

Yours in education,

John
