The Center for Academic Resources (CAR) provides free tutoring and Supplemental Instruction (SI) services for undergraduate students enrolled in courses at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh on the Oshkosh Campus. Tutoring is available for many 100 and 200 level courses.
CAR will provide in-person and online tutoring during the summer semester. Tutors’ availability is shown on our tutor list. SI sessions will resume at the start of the fall semester.
One-on-one tutoring is an opportunity for students to work individually with a peer tutor to increase content knowledge and understanding of course material.
Chemistry 101 & 102 Small-Group Tutoring
This provides students the opportunity to meet with the same tutor and group of students on a weekly basis to review material and increase content knowledge and understanding of course material.
The SI program provides evening review sessions led by trained peer facilitators who help students better understand the material and prepare for exams.
Academic Resources Tutoring
With the guidance of a peer tutor, students receive information and can ask questions relating to UWO programs, systems, and resources.
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Friday: By Appointment Only for In-Person Sessions
Tutoring is available in-person and online.
