Peer Educator Review Sessions (PERS)
The SI and PERS programs offer evening review sessions for students in select 100- and 200-level courses.
Sessions are facilitated by student Leaders who have already earned a high grade in the course. Leaders are trained to help students review the course material and to share learning strategies that they used to be successful in the course.
- Sessions are held multiple times each week, depending on the number of times the course meets each week
- Leaders re-attend classes and determine the content of the review sessions
- Sessions are held once a week for 90-120 minutes
- Leaders meet with the professor of the course on a weekly basis to go over course materials and to determine the focus of the review sessions
