John M. Wollner
John M. Wollner earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business Administration in 1995 and was honored as the outstanding alumnus in 2000.
He has spent his entire professional career in management positions with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and as its director of corporate relations, providing leadership to Thrivent Financial’s community outreach programs at its headquarters in Minneapolis and Appleton. He has served in leadership roles with a number of charitable and civic organizations in both the Fox Cities and the Twin Cities, and was a member of development teams for several major community projects including Fox Cities Stadium and the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
He is a member of the board of directors and past chairman of the UW Oshkosh Foundation. He also has served on the business advisory council for the College of Business Administration and as a member of the steering committee that helped launch the University’s Center for Community Partnerships.
John and his wife, Marti, reside in Oakdale, Minnesota. They have three grown children and twin granddaughters.
