Todd J. Teske

Todd J. Teske received a bachelor’s degree in business, with a major in accounting, from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business Administration in 1987. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University in 2000. Teske was honored as the outstanding alumnus in 2012.

After graduating from UWO, Teske worked at Arthur Andersen for nine years in various roles from audit staff to manager. In 1996, he joined Briggs & Stratton Corporation. While at B&S, Teske held roles in finance, strategy and operations. In 2010, he was elected chairman, president & chief executive officer, serving in this role until 2020. In addition to serving on the B&S board, Teske also has served on two other public company boards, Badger Meter Inc. and Lennox International Inc.

Teske has been involved in many non-profit organizations and served as chairman at Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity & Innovation and MRA – The Management Association.

Teske is married to Kimberly, a fellow UWO graduate. Together they have two adult children.
