TECH TITANS

UW Oshkosh has high-performing Information Systems (IS) and Computer Science programs, that are capable of making a meaningful difference in the supply of computer science and IT talent. Tech Titan programs are experiential learning opportunities that introduce and engage students in topics, technologies and careers within the IT field.

Enterprise Resource Planning Simulations

Teams of students will compete in three rounds of a water distribution company simulation. Through synergy and creative decision-making, team members will work together to resolve and conquer the unique business challenges and opportunities they face along the way. Cybersecurity Center of Excellence

UW Oshkosh in partnership with the Wisconsin Cyber Threat Response Alliance has launched a collaborative working environment for research, training and outreach related to cybersecurity. The center will empower and educate current and future cybersecurity practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to tomorrow’s cybersecurity threats. LEARN MORE

TechTalk

The NEW IT Alliance TechTalk series connects college students and community members with IT thought leaders throughout Wisconsin. Learn more about the latest technology Wisconsin companies are developing and using in their products while exploring career opportunities, options to retool existing skills and educational pathways available at local universities. 

Tech Titans Cybersecurity Academy

Tech Titans teaches students the basics of good cybersecurity. Participants will work in small teams to use real cybersecurity tools and play games with simulated scenarios. The workshop is centered on tutorial-based instruction so students will learn as they play.

Professionals/mentors will be available during and after the academy. Participants receive workshop materials, academy t-shirt, lunch and snacks.  No prior experience is necessary; all skill levels are welcome. Academy for students entering 6-12 grade:  LEARN MORE
