Step 1: Transcript Review

Complete and submit the Transcript Review request form and the required $100 fee to UW-Oshkosh. Your undergraduate and graduate coursework will be reviewed to determine what you need to take (both content coursework and education coursework) to complete the ACT program. After this transcript review, you will receive a letter outlining the requirements (content and education coursework) necessary to obtain your teaching license(s).

After receiving your Transcript Review and before applying (Step 2) you should schedule an interview with the ACT program Director to clarify any questions about specific requirements in the Transcript Review letter.

Step 2: Admission into the ACT program

Submit the ACT Admission Application and statement of teaching to act@uwosh.edu. Students can submit the required $1,000 fee to UW-Oshkosh at through the online payment portal.

After evaluation of the admission application, you will be issued a formal acceptance letter to the ACT program.

Criminal Background Check

When you submit your ACT Admission Application, you must also obtain a criminal background check through CastleBranch. This background check needs to be completed before your admission can be processed.

Acceptance

After the interview, if all other documents are approved, you will receive a letter of acceptance.
