The Literacy, Leadership and Social Foundations graduate programs are designed for experienced educators and working professionals. Candidates can choose to earn a Doctoral or Master’s degree or strengthen career opportunities through an administrative licensure or  certificate.

Classes are presented in a hybrid format which involves a mixture of in-person and online work. In person classes meet in the evenings throughout the academic year and in the daytime during the summer term.

The academic programs provide a variety of specialization including literacy instruction, literacy leadership, and educational leadership.

The department also provides a service course to the undergraduate teacher education program in social foundations, literacy, and instructional technology.
