Commencement

Dear Faculty and Staff,

You’ve made a difference and had an impact on each and every one of our 2020 spring graduates. You’ve supported students as they have found themselves, helped grow their talents and helped them navigate the world of online learning.

Normally we would invite you to share in their celebration by attending the face-to-face ceremony. This year is a bit different.

We want to send a message of celebration and hope to our graduates. We are seeking the Titan community’s help to create a video message for our graduates by recording themselves delivering a unified message.

No need to be creative, we wrote a script. Our videographer will weave pieces of your videos together. Please don’t memorize the script but rather deliver the individual lines with honesty and authority, even if it means stopping and starting your message in between each line. The magic happens on the editing floor.

The video will be shared with graduates on the week of commencement and on social media. We also invite you to tune into the virtual ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16. Details will be sent the week of the event.
