Important Dates and Deadlines
The College of Nursing admits students into the DNP–Family Nurse Practitioner Emphasis once a year. All admitted students begin classes in fall.
The BSN to DNP–Family Nurse Practitioner Emphasis application is available July 1–March 31. Supplemental materials must be received by the College of Nursing Graduate Program Office, and official transcripts must be received by the Graduate Studies Office by March 31 to be eligible for admission the following fall.
Written Admission Interview Questions
After admission requirements are met, and supporting materials have been received by the respective graduate offices by the March 31st deadline, eligible applicants will receive access to several written admission questions. Applicants’ responses to these admission interview questions will be reviewed by members of our graduate faculty. Once an application is complete, the College of Nursing Graduate Program Office will reach out to the applicant with additional information on how to complete the written admission question prompts.
If accepted into the program, new admits must attend orientation.
