BSN Completion Program Options

ADN or Diploma to BSN Options

The College of Nursing, in collaboration with UW System Schools, provides opportunities for Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma students and/or graduates to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. These Bachelor of Science nursing courses are primarily online.

Nursing courses in the shared curriculum are offered by six UW System Universities:

  • UW Oshkosh
  • UW Milwaukee
  • UW Madison
  • UW Eau Claire
  • UW Green Bay
  • UW Steven’s Point

Core nursing courses are offered each semester and in summer to ensure that students have multiple options for course and program completion. The baccalaureate degree in nursing will be awarded by the home institution.

The undergraduate program at UW Oshkosh is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036. The program is approved by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.

There are two different ways to achieve your BSN using this option. They are BSN@Home and Soar Ahead.

BSN@Home is offered through UW Oshkosh and Soar Ahead is offered through Blackhawk Technical College only.
