Biofeedback
Biofeedback is a computer based program devised to help individuals to recognize their body’s response to stress and anxiety and develop skills to reduce this response. Skills focus on mindfulness, breathing, relaxation, sensory awareness, and cognitive strategies. The Counseling Center offers Healing Rhythms and Heart Math programs. A counselor will provide a private orientation to the biofeedback room and programs. Students are open to return to biofeedback on their own as much as they find helpful.
Biofeedback can help with:
- Chronic Pain
- Anxiety
- Headaches
- High Blood Pressure
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Injury
- Asthma
- Epilepsy
