Winnebago Countywide Crime Stoppers Scholarship
The Winnebago Countywide Crime Stoppers organization created this scholarship to encourage local students to complete a degree in criminal justice and pursue a career in crime reduction and/or prevention.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh at the time of application and at the time the award is disbursed.
- Applicant must be majoring in criminal justice with junior standing at the time the award is disbursed in Fall 2021.
- Applicant must have financial need based on the FAFSA.
- Preference will be given to students with a permanent address in Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
- Students graduating in the current academic year are not eligible to apply.

The Award:
- The award shall be credited to the recipient’s student account at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Criminal Justice Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 by Christopher Rose, Department Chair and Professor of Criminal Justice.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a full- or part-time undergraduate student enrolled at the Oshkosh campus.
- Applicant must be majoring in criminal justice and must have completed Criminal Justice 281 with a B or higher.
- Applicant must have at least sophomore standing and must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA both overall and in major.
- This award will be paid out in Spring 2021.
