John graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Western Illinois University and a Master of Science in Education  College Student Personnel Administration from UW La Crosse. He has had the pleasure of working with Wisconsin college students his entire career in residence life, student activities, and the Dean of Students Office. John's area of focus in the Dean of Students office include Disability Services, nonacademic and academic misconduct, the University-wide Care Team, withdrawals, and assisting with student needs and concerns. He enjoys traveling, exploring historical sites, community events, antiques, and spending time with his family and two dogs. His favorite place in Oshkosh is Menominee Park and he feels students should enjoy this waterfront gem while they are here.
