You can always count on Christopher to have an influential response to whatever topic is being discussed. Although he tends toward the thoughtful and quiet, his comments always invite the most responses from others in the class as he voices the core substance of the issue and opens it up for everyone. His questions facilitate novel thoughts and raise the intellectual level of discourse. We all recognize excellence in students when we see it, and it has been a privilege to have had Christopher in several of my courses as I have probably learned as much from him as he has from me.
