The Office of Equal Opportunity & Access is comprised of three full-time staff members and several student workers. The three full-time positions include the Director of Equal Opportunity & Access, Investigator, and a Senior Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist.

Currently Vacant, Director Equal Opportunity & Access
The Director of Equal Opportunity & Access is the university’s lead administrator on affirmative action, equal opportunity and disability issues, as well as diversity and inclusion efforts. The Director also serves as the Title IX Coordinator for UW Oshkosh.
The Director oversees the Office of Equal Opportunity & Access and works with other university leaders to enhance UW Oshkosh diversity and inclusion efforts. The office ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws related to affirmative action, equal opportunity and disability issues; investigates discrimination and sexual harassment complaints; provides training in sexual harassment, discrimination and disability issues; fosters campus diversity initiatives and oversees the implementation of policies, procedures and services as they relate to compliance with the Civil Rights Act, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the 2008 Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act.

Shaniqua Crawford, Investigator/Deputy Title IX Coordinator
Shaniqua Crawford is responsible for conducting investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and sexual assault in violation of University policy. Patricia Schrader, Senior Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist
Patricia Schrader is certified as a Professional in Human Resources(PHR®) and a Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter(CDR®). Ms. Schrader ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws related to affirmative action, equal opportunity and disability issues. Ms. Schrader also assists with UW Oshkosh’s comprehensive disability services program for employees, including the assessment and delivery of accommodations and services for faculty and staff with disabilities. Patricia is also primarily responsible for the completion of UWO’s Affirmative Action Plan.
