Our Anaerobic Digester (AD) Systems

ERIC is the primary testing facility for UW Oshkosh’s biogas systems. The industrial-academic partnership has allowed the lab to develop and expand its unique testing and research capabilities in the reuse of biodegradable materials and renewable energy production.  The ERIC continues to push the limits of this technology by conducting thorough research concerning the fermentation process, methane production, degradability, and closing the loop in waste streams.  This expertise can be brought to our clients in the form of:

  • Customized full-scale testing
  • Hands-on training in digester safety, operations, and management
  • Performance evaluations and solutions for AD systems
  • Cradle-to-grave analysis of materials
  • Test new materials with potential to make biodegradable consumer products
  • Trial studies to determine acceptability of waste at one of the UW Oshkosh Biogas systems

Visit our UW Oshkosh Biogas Systems website to learn more about our biogas system technologies and programs.
