At the October 2 meeting of Faculty Senate Guest Holly Shea, Assistant Director of Human Resources, reviewed pandemic related leave options, discussed caregiving challenges and options, reviewed current furlough input processes, and answered questions from Senators. Provost Koker provided an Academic Program Plan update and thanked those who are participating in the interview and workshop processes with Gray Associates. The workshop is the beginning of planning process aimed to identify ways increase enrollment and retention and better position UWO for meeting the needs of the region into the future Senators also considered revisions to the Ethnic Studies requirement definition and passed minor handbook revisions related to assessment.
