Tuition, Fees and Due Dates

Please visit the Student Financial Services website for detailed information on tuition, due dates, payment options, refund schedules, withdrawal policies and more.

Tuition is set by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents. Segregated fees are recommended by each local student body, reviewed by the Chancellor and approved by the Board of Regents. All tuition and fees are payable at the time of registration. Students must sign a financial agreement in order to enroll in classes each semester.

Special course fees for specific courses may apply. Please visit the course schedule for your campus.

Tuition Fee Plateau

The “fee plateau” means a student will pay the same tuition rate for 12-18 credits. Any credit load above or below that range will be charged on a per-credit basis. Online courses, bachelor’s degree courses, FLEX and study abroad courses are excluded from the fee plateau.

Segregated Fees

Segregated fees are charges — in addition to tuition — assessed to all students for student services, activities, programs and facilities that support the mission of all three campuses of UW Oshkosh. Segregated Fees are per term based on full-time status.

Full-Time Students

At UW Oshkosh and its three campuses — Oshkosh, Fond du Lac and Fox Cities — a student is considered a full-time student if their credit load in fall or spring is between 12 and 18 credits. If a student exceeds 18 credits in a given semester, then the per-credit rate applies for each additional credit. A student is considered to be a full-time student in summer term if their credit load is between 6 and 9 credits. For all credits over 9, the per-credit rate applies. For more details, please visit the course schedule for your campus.

First-Year Student Fees

In addition to standard tuition and fees, freshmen are required to pay the new student fees ($150) and placement test fee ($30). New student and placement test fees are non-refundable. All new students will need to request a Titan Card ID at the cost of $10.

Transfer Student Fees

Transfer fees for new students are $150. The new student transfer fee is non-refundable. All new students will need to request a Titan Card ID at the cost of $10.

International Student Fees

All international students will be assessed an international student fee of $150 per semester.
