Adult Students

The Fond du Lac campus welcomes adult students, and we have helped many adults achieve their goals and dreams. Whether you seek a new or enhanced career, want to take a course for intellectual enrichment or something in-between, you can do it and we can help.


The Gottfried Arboretum is a 42 acre prairie on campus that was established by Bradley Gottfried, the second dean of the Fond du Lac campus. Visit the Gottfried Prairie and Arboretum website for more information.

Campus Bookstore

The Fond du Lac campus bookstore sells textbooks, school supplies, apparel and other materials. Visit the bookstore’s website to learn more or contact the bookstore at

Counseling Center

Students at all three UW Oshkosh campuses can make use of the Counseling Center on the Oshkosh campus. The Counseling Center provides free and confidential treatment for mental health concerns and encourages strength based approaches to enhance mental health. The center provides individual and group counseling, crisis services, wellness workshops, bio-feedback, animal assisted therapy, mindfulness services, meaningful exploration retreats, restorative yoga, student success coaching, career exploration, AODA intervention services, consultation and outreach. 

Emergency Grant

The UW Oshkosh Fond du Lac Campus Emergency Grant is available to students with an unexpected financial crisis that would cause a student to not complete the term, such as unexpected medical expenses, car repair, travel expenses for a family emergency or replacement of items due to loss or damage. Please contact your the Solution Center for more information.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.

Food Service

The Falcon’s Nest cafeteria is located off the Commons in the University Center and is open for brunch, lunch and snacks. The Falcon’s Nest is operated by A’viands. Visit the food service page for more information.

Photo Opt-Out Form

Students or employees may fill out the Photo Opt-Out Form if they do not want the University to use photographs, audio, and/or video recordings of them for purposes of education, publicity, and student recruitment on behalf of the University.


The 40,000 volume Library on the Fond du Lac campus is located in the University Center.

Veterans Resource Center

The Veterans Resource Center is dedicated to providing support for military personnel, including active duty veterans, guard members, reservists and dependents of veterans on all three campuses of UW Oshkosh.
