The FIXED Storytelling Project began in Fall 2019 and is a collaborative effort to localize the growing addiction crisis in America. The project involves students from three classes at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a design class at Moraine Park Technical College and a team of dedicated volunteers. The result of this year-long collaboration includes this website and a book with the goal of raising awareness and compelling positive action.

We partnered with Breakwater, formerly the Winnebago County Drug and Alcohol Coalition, an agency working to prevent and reduce drug and alcohol use through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Our hope is to provide a voice to those who have been affected by addiction and to encourage the community to take action to help stop this epidemic.
