Recipient must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Special consideration is also be given to students who are members and leaders of the Interactive Web Management Club. Recipient must have a declared major or minor in music or music education with their primary applied instrument as orchestral strings (defined as violin, viola, cello, double bass, or harp). Preference is given to music or music education majors. It is awarded based on the applicant's music scholarship audition. It is renewable for a second year.
