Parent Support through Virtual Options

Ready4k is an evidenced based program for parents and caregivers providing parenting support through text messages every week. This became available for families in October, 2020 for FREE. There are 226 active enrollments from UW Oshkosh Head Start. A recent survey found that:

• 82% say texts have helped their child learn and grow
• 100% find Ready4k texts helpful
• 90% do Ready4k activities at least once per week

Positive Solutions for Families has also been offered through video clips. Five sessions were available through recorded video lessons and we have had good participation.
