The Department of Biology is hosting Kelly Genskow, UW Oshkosh Biology-Chemistry and Honors Alum (2013), who will present on her fascinating two-year journey as a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana on Monday, March 12, at 10:20.

The Honors College is grateful to Dr. Sabrina Mueller-Spitz for inviting the Honors community to join her class, Biology 339: Public Health and Food Microbiology, and to attend Kelly’s talk.

“Stomping Out Malaria: Working toward Elimination through the Peace Corps” will give insight into the extensive efforts necessary to implement effective malaria prevention programs—and to improve the health education network—within Kelly’s adopted community. (Please see flyer.)

Ms. Genskow will soon be recognized for these and other achievements at the Spring 2018 Honors Graduation Ceremony, where she will be presented with the Honors Alumni Award.

Please help us welcome Kelly to campus on Monday, March 12, from 10:20 to 11:20 in Halsey 268!
