Take a break with the University Honors Student Association this Tuesday at 5:00 in Reeve 212!

The UHSA Executive Board members are excited to announce this spring’s Pizza with Professors speaker, Dr. Shelly Michalski, Professor of Biology, as its special guest!

Have you taken BIOLOGY 108 with Dr. Michalski? Or do you plan to register soon in next fall’s BIOLOGY 108? Either way, you will be interested to hear about this popular Honors College instructor’s discipline, the field in which she works, her career path and scholarship, and more!

Dr. Michalski is a parasitologist originally from Missouri who has taught Biology 108 as a five-credit Honors Elective since 2003, has served on the Honors Council for three terms, has mentored many Honors Biology theses along the way, and whose on-campus laboratory was recently awarded two NIH grants for her ongoing partnership with the Neglected Tropical Disease research community.  Please join us in getting to know Dr. Michalski on Tuesday, March 5, in Reeve 212 beginning at 5:00.
