Diversity Statement

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Department of Residence Life is committed to creating an open and diverse living environment that is physically and psychologically safe, respectful and civil; where individual and human differences and diversity of thought are understood, accepted, and celebrated.

This year, we are proud to announce that we will be officially opening our Rainbow Floor in North Scott for 2016-2017 school year. Everyone is welcome within this community but is aimed at those who identify as LGBTQ+ or an ally. Roommate assignments on this floor are not based on gender or identity, so students are able to live with whomever they choose.
