Grounds Crew
The grounds Crew does General landscape maintenance of campus grounds including, but is not limited to that. They also Mowing/trimming, edging, weeding, and watering of campus grounds. They Spreading topsoil and mulches, and reseed lawns and removing debris as needed. Furthermore, they Inclement weather clean up, such as shoveling or salting sidewalks and/or walkways. It may involve project or construction work.

Pay Rate:
$8.10/hour
Work Hours:
- During the academic year (September – May) the student will be able to work part time during the hours of 6:00am – 2:30pm
- During the summer (May – August) the student will be able to work up to 40 hours during the hours of 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Please note that flexibility in hours may be needed during inclement weather conditions
Job Duties:
General landscape maintenance of campus grounds including, but not limited to:
- Mowing/trimming, edging, weeding, and watering of campus grounds
- Spreading topsoil and mulches
- Reseeding lawns and removing debris as needed
- Inclement weather clean up, such as shoveling or salting sidewalks and/or walkways
- May involve project or construction work
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of plant care
- Basic knowledge of safe equipment operation
- Ability to perform physical work in most weather extremes
- Ability to lift a 50-pound minimum
- Be registered for a minimum of 6 credits in a UW system school
- Have and maintain a semester and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
