OPE

The Oshkosh Placement Exchange is a national, higher education job placement exchange.  OPE is hosted by the Department of Residence Life and Gruenhagen Conference Center at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.  Our mission is basis, and yet powerful.  We strive to provide a placement exchange that is professionally managed and coordinated by UW Oshkosh staff members.

Furthermore, we strive to provide a professional venue at which colleges, universities, and residential boarding schools can interview qualified job seeking applicants who traditionally come from 45 states.  Employers attending the Oshkosh Placement Exchange are seeking candidates to fill employment positions in the field of higher education, and more specifically in the following areas:  housing, residential living, student activities, student leadership, fraternity and sorority advisement, multicultural student advisement, diversity education, and many others.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has hosted the Oshkosh Placement Exchange on our campus for 33 consecutive years.  We invite you to participate in a placement exchange that strives to take care of you; look after your needs; and provide you with an environment that promotes the success of candidates and employers.  The environment we strive to create and promote is that of a “family reunion.”  We want our attendees to feel welcomed, valued, and as they are “coming home to Oshkosh.”  Your success as candidates and employers is the most important final result of our hosting the Oshkosh Placement Exchange.  We invite you to contact us at 920-424-1103 or 920-424-1123 to learn more about the Oshkosh Placement Exchange and to visit our website at www.theope.org to learn more about how we can serve your needs!
