The UW Oshkosh Powwow on Nov. 3, 2018 marked the beginning of the Wisconsin Powwow Hall of Fame. This event, hosted by the Inter-tribal Student Council, is designed to recognize exemplary powwow dancers, drummers, singers, emcees, arena directors etc.

The goal of this initiative is to celebrate and honor those committed to one of our many indigenous cultural expressions through their engagement of the powwow and intertribal circuit, to highlight and provide visibility, voice and empowerment of the Native peoples of Wisconsin and to further unify the 12 nations of Wisconsin.
