An email was sent to several campus users this morning that contained a password protected Word document. The email indicates that your credit card will be billed if instructions are not followed.
DO NOT OPEN THE WORD DOCUMENT. The document is a virus that will install ransomware on your computer. Delete the email and empty your Trash folder.
If you believe you have already opened the Word document with the provided password, please inform the IT helpdesk (helpdesk@uwosh.edu/x3020) immediately.
