Budget and Finance Systems
Shared Financial Systems (SFS) is the financial database for the University of Wisconsin System. The goal of SFS, and of the people who support it, is to provide a single integrated financial system that enables each institution to execute their core business processes in a streamlined and flexible environment that meets users’ needs.
Managed Software Center (MSC) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) are software distribution mechanisms allowing end users access to the latest version of licensed software on Mac and PC platforms.
Customer Relationship Management
Web-based database software that manages prospective student data and relationships. UW Oshkosh currently utilizes Salesforce.
Database Systems encompasses many different functions on campus including, but not limited to, work order requests, help desk ticketing, library resource checkout, and door access.
Digital signage includes any digital display in public facing areas, such as computer labs, department offices, academic buildings, and outdoor signage. Displays include outdoor and indoor signage as well as displays outside of conference rooms.
A digital software application that is used to managed paper-based forms with automated workflows. UW Oshkosh currently uses ImageNow.
Human Resource Systems
Human Resource System (HRS) is a UW System hosted application that is used to manage human resource information including, but not limited to, payroll information, time and absence reporting, as well as tax forms.
ID Card Systems
UW Oshkosh’s Division of Information Technology provides support for campus ID card systems such as card protection, database management, and integration with other systems (e.g. TitanCard, Titan Dollars, Door Access, printing, food ordering etc.)
Secure and direct print management application that provides accounting and tracking for print jobs across all student print areas and some select departments. This system allows for limiting print usage and separating printing into different departmental accounting functions.
Room Reservation Systems
The room reservation systems on campus track meeting and classroom reservations and assignments campus-wide. Current systems include 25Live, Outlook Calendar, and TitanWeb through the Registrar’s Office.
Manages the posting, application, and awarding of scholarships. UW Oshkosh currently supports Academic Works.
Unattended installation of software on computers managed by UW Oshkosh. The software is tested before deploying to computer to ensure functionality.
Student Support Systems
Provides a students academic information, interaction logging, tracking, and reporting to student services offices such as advising and tutoring.
There are a variety of survey tools available to campus including Qualtrics, Google Forms, and Microsoft Forms. Qualtrics is an enterprise survey service while the other two are functional, but not as robust.
Web Content Management Systems
Non-static, web-based systems associated with campus including, but not limited to MyUWO Portal, Plone, NARF, Tapingo, and WordPress.
