Erin Elliott holds a master’s degree in family and consumer journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in speech (public relations emphasis) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has over 20 years of professional experience in public relations and earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential in 2019.
Elliott works as an account supervisor on the Public Relations, Social Media and Content team at Hiebing, an integrated brand development and marketing communications agency headquartered in Madison, Wis. Though most of her career has been spent in the agency environment, she has also worked in corporate and non-profit roles. She specializes in media relations, crisis communication and content creation.
An active member of the Public Relations Society of America, Elliott has served on the board of directors for the organization’s Northeast Wisconsin Chapter since 2005. She was president of the chapter in 2012, 2019 and 2020.
Elliott teaches Principles of Public Relations at UW Oshkosh.
