National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS)

• an international agency for accreditation and approval of educational programs in the clinical laboratory sciences and related health professions

American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS)

• an organization that promotes the profession of clinical laboratory science and provides beneficial services to those who practice it

American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

• an organization that serves as a national resource for the enhancement of the quality of the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine

American Society for Microbiology (ASM)

• an organization that promotes the advancement of microbiological sciences through the pursuit of scientific knowledge and dissemination of the results of fundamental and applied research; ASM is the oldest and largest single life science membership organization in the world
