Laurie Woltman
Laurie Woltman holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s in Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. 2022 marks her 26th year teaching Elementary General Music in the Appleton Area School District. Laurie earned a Kodaly Certificate from Silver Lake College. In addition to her focus in Elementary General Music, Laurie has presented her research on music education for students with diagnosed learning differences at public secondary schools and at the university level. Laurie is a past director of the Primo Girl Choir at Lawrence University’s Community Music School. She is also a past instructor of early childhood music classes at the Community Music School. Laurie’s primary instrument is voice, with secondary instruments of guitar, ukulele, and hammered dulcimer.
