Join us for the first annual Spring Family Day this March!

Shamrock Shuffle
Shamrock Shuffle 5k Run/Walk (all ages)
10 am – 12 pm
–Race starts at 10 am
Start your spring and warmer weather (on the way) celebrations off on the right foot!
This 5k run/walk is hosted by the UWO Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The route is all new this year, starting and ending at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, located at 735 Pearl Ave in Oshkosh. The route starts north on Pearl Ave and back along the Wiouwash Trail before winding through and circling around the UWO Campus.
This event is open to any fitness level and has something for everyone! Wanting a competitive start to your 5k season? We will have a race clock at the start/finish line to track your personal time and progress. Looking for more of a social shuffle? Enjoy the views along the route at a comfortable pace, or even consider our 2 mile shorter option. Strollers and well-behaved leashed dogs are also welcome, bring out the whole family! This community fun run raises money for:
- Student Recreation and Wellness Center Scholarships
- Other Campus/Student Support and Connection Initiatives
$20 for Community Members, $15 for UW Oshkosh Students

Beat Clash Kids Dash (ages 4-10)
-Dash starts at 9 am
Get your little leprechauns some movement at this fun run for kids! Located inside the RecPlex Dome, participants will lap the full-sized turf soccer field (about a 1k). The temperature-controlled bubble is the perfect spot for kids to “compete” in their very own run. Clash the Titan will be there for photos and cheering on the competitors as they cross the finish line to receive a medal.

LGBTQ+ Resource Center Community Brunch
LGBTQ+ Resource Center Community Brunch
12:30-1:30 pm
Visit the LGBTQ+ Resource Center on campus located within the Campus Center for Equity & Diversity
717 W. Irving Ave. from 12:30-1:30 pm to have a free brunch and build community. This event is an opportunity for families to connect with other LGBTQIA+ families, students, and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center.

Oshkosh Winter Farmers Market at the Oshkosh Arena
9 am-12:30 pm
After the Shamrock Shuffle, consider attending the Winter Market highlighting locally-grown fresh and organic produce, including late-season fruits & vegetables, hydroponic and greenhouse-raised greens, eggs, locally roasted coffees, honey, syrups, cheeses, farm-raised meats, including beef, chicken, pork, and bison, jams & jellies, canned goods, bakery, craft items, take home meals and so much more. Enjoy local, live entertainment each week.

The Paine Art Center and Gardens – Tom Uttech: One with Nature Exhibition
Open throughout the entire weekend (10th-12th) –
Open: Tuesday–Sunday from 11:00 am–4:00 pm
$9 Adults, $5 Youth (ages 5-17), Free Paine Members and children under 4
This exhibition presents more than two dozen photographs and a selection of paintings by renowned Wisconsin artist Tom Uttech. A highlight of the exhibition is Uttech’s large-scale masterwork, Nin Gassinsibingwe (I Wipe My Tears).

Oshkosh is a great shopping destination for people who want to find name-brand items without dealing with big-city crowds.
- The Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh features 40 name-brand stores offering clothing, footwear, housewares, and accessories. Stores include Coach, Columbia, Nike, North Face, Under Armour, Eddie Bauer and Old Navy.
- Downtown Oshkosh has numerous boutique stores where you can find one-of-a-kind clothing made locally in Oshkosh. Antique and vintage shops can be found downtown and throughout the city. The Oshkosh Farmers Market is a local favorite featuring clothing, crafts, food, and other locally-produced goods.
- Eat out! Check out all the amazing Oshkosh restaurants!
- Looking for a fun activity? Book some time at Escape Oshkosh, Blades & Boards Hatchet throwing, or paint a memory at the Fire Escape. Hit up the game room at the Mineshaft Restaurant, or play a round of mini golf at Glow in the Park Indoor Mini Golf.
- Interested in checking out some animals while in town? Stop by MToxins and witness over 85 animals from around the world – and you might even catch a live venom extraction show! Check out Oshkosh’s newest Aquatic Pet Store, Sanctuary Aquatics. This aquatic destination and pet store is filled with rare and unique fish from around the world. The various coral displays, frog exhibits, and stingray ponds are only a few features of this marine magic!
- Beauty awaits at the Paine Art Center & Gardens(and, p.s. this is an amazing place to take unforgettable photos!) and then head across the street to the Oshkosh Public Museum. If you are into aviation, you must visit the EAA Aviation Museum
