OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) Office of Continuing Education (CE) is excited to share its Spring 2022 courses and community programs that are open to all!

There is a combination of in-person, hybrid and virtual classes that are accessible to anyone. The UW Oshkosh Fox Cities, Fond du Lac and Oshkosh campuses can help you develop professional skills, earn required continuing education credits or explore personal enrichment.

Educational travel opportunities are available to anyone who is looking for an excursion and experience new adventures. In 2022, there are trips to Portugal, New York City and Costa Rica, along with day trips to explore Milwaukee. A canoe adventure is planned in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota or a tour of southern Italy in Spring of 2023. If you want to learn a new hobby, UWO CE offers courses in chess, knitting, guitar and new this year … painting parties. There are free opportunities that will teach you how to Zoom or use video features. Women’s Wellness programs kick off Feb. 23 with a workshop on what to do when the scale won’t budge.

Online certification opportunities are also available to help professionals advance in their careers or gain new skills. Social media, online teaching, business writing, digital communications as well as cybersecurity and digital risk management are some of the many topics that are covered.

The Learning in Retirement (LIR) program is a member-based, self-directed association offering learning opportunities to its members. Programming focuses on history, science, current events local and national, health and wellness, trips and more. Join this community of lifelong learners and enjoy the spring semester for only $50.
