What is Aviation Management?
UW Oshkosh’s online Aviation Management program prepares students to move into advanced positions and become industry leaders. With a focus on developing advanced skills in leadership and administration, your Aviation Management degree builds upon your professional and educational aviation experience. Transfer Credits – Build on your previous experience
Aviation Management students can transfer in an eligible associate degree, an A&P diploma, or FAA certificates. One of our advisors would be happy to go over all of your transcripts and tell you how many credits you will transfer before you formally apply for admission. We also are able to consider the following types of credit for transfer:
- Military Credit (including an automatic 4 credits with submission of DD214 form)
- Credits that appear on an ACE (American Council on Education) transcript
FAA Certification Transfer Credits:
- ATP or R-ATP……………………….40 credits
- ATP + CFI…………………………… 43 credits
- ATP + CFI + CFII…………………44 credits
- ATP + CFI + CFII +MEI…………45 credits
- A&P Certificate…………………..45 credits
Please note: Having a private pilot’s license, without meeting the professional or educational qualifications specified here, will not quality an applicant for this program. However, individual experiences can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for acceptance, please contact an advisor for additional information.
Earn Your Degree in About Two Years
For full-time students with 60 or more transferable credits, the Aviation Management degree can be completed in as little as two years. Please note, depending on your educational background and preferred schedule, it may take more time. One of our advisors will be happy to review your previous coursework and prepare a personalized planner that will help you understand how your associate degree will transfer and what coursework you will need to complete to earn your Aviation Management degree. 100 Percent Online and Accelerated
The Aviation Management program is offered completely online! Most courses are delivered in accelerated, seven-week sessions, which offer additional flexibility for students working full time. Courses are delivered through Desire 2 Learn. Students interact with their professors and classmates through online discussion, class lectures, and a drop box for assignments. There are no required scheduled meeting times, but there are deadlines and due dates for projects, assignments and discussions.
Affordable and Flexible
Our tuition—$360 per credit for *Aviation Management courses —makes budgeting for your degree easy. Financial aid is available for students who qualify.
