Northeast Wisconsin Suicide Prevention Summit

Fee: In-person – $129 (including lunch); Virtual – $99

Join us for a summit developed to promote awareness of suicide, deepening our understanding of key questions: Who is most vulnerable? What are the risk factors? How can we reach out and help? In addition to handouts and other materials, continuing education credit hours and units will be provided and can be used for social workers, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, nursing home administrators, and other health and human service professionals.

Chief/Company Officer Certificate
Location: Virtual

The Chief/Company Officer Program (CCOP) is a collaborative initiative between UW Oshkosh and the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association (WSFCA), providing officers with broad perspectives on various facets of fire and emergency services administration. Through six online educational courses, the COP framework helps officers strengthen their communication and leadership skills and gain a better understanding of public administration in fire and emergency services. Upon successful completion of all six courses and having met the prerequisites for Fire Officer II, you are eligible to apply for Fire Officer III certification through ProBoard.

Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management

The Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management Certificate provides learners with foundational knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, threats, and risk management practices to help support a more secure organizational environment. Learning in Retirement (LIR) is a self-directed, membership-based association of people 55+, offering opportunities for lifelong learning. Short Online Trainings for Social Workers

The following pre-recorded, online trainings were developed by Aspire Training & Consulting for social workers and professional counselors in the State of Wisconsin. These trainings can be taken at any time. UW Oshkosh Continuing Education will award one credit hour (0.1 CEU) for every 60 minutes of training completed. Some of the trainings have been packaged to equal approximately 60 minutes of training time. Upon completion, a CEU certificate will be automatically generated when you successfully complete the course, listing which training was completed and the number of CEUs awarded.
