Samantha Surowiec, Ph.D.

Dr. Surowiec is the information manager for the Office of Institutional Research at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Her educational background is in Management and has a Ph.D. in Information Technology Management. For 12 years, she taught business, management and computer courses for the Wisconsin Technical College System and for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Jeff Sachse, Ph.D.

Dr. Sachse is a Faculty Associate at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He currently teaches courses in the Department of Public Administration and the Division of Online and Continuing Education. Dr. Sachse is also affiliated with the University’s Center for Customized Research Services where he routinely advises on the Center’s survey and feasibility study work. Dr. Sachse also previously served as the Director of the Office of Economic Advisors of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. He is the founder of Rawley Point Economic Advising. Dr. Sachse is a resident of Manitowoc, Wis., and serves as an advisor to several organizations, including Advancing AI Wisconsin, Kinnektor, the NEW North IT Alliance and the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance.

Tonya Estebo, M.S.

Estebo joined the Mathematics Department at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marinette campus in the fall of 2011 and currently instructs various mathematics courses for the campus and works as the Student Success Center Coordinator for Mathematics Tutoring. Estebo earned her B.A. degree in education and mathematics from Arizona State University West. She continued her higher education by earning two different master’s degrees online in education from Walden University. Her previous teaching experience includes being a mathematics teacher in the public schools and teaching college courses online. She has worked with all ages of students in mathematics and implemented a module-based, mastery learning system for a number of mathematics classes to help meet that goal. In December of 2013, Estebo was named the Kaplan Fellow Award recipient for the UWGB, Marinette campus. In May of 2014, she received the Instructional Academic Staff of the Year award followed by the UW Colleges Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching for Instructional Academic Staff in August of 2014.
