Titan Summer Art Academy

UW Oshkosh invites all aspiring artists entering grades 7–12 to enjoy a fun and educational art academy on campus. Working with University art professor Emmet Sandberg and art education students, participants will explore a variety of techniques in drawing as well as graphic design. The academy will also focus on professional opportunities and art careers from a panel of successful UW Oshkosh alumni artists.

As a group, participants will create an Titan Summer Art Academy T-shirt design and visit a graphic design studio to see how a drawing is transformed from paper to clothing. Participants also will gain experience preparing and installing artwork to display in a group exhibition at the Gail F. Steinhilber Gallery in Reeve Memorial Union. The gallery opening will take place in conjunction with the academy graduation. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
